Who we are

MarketWire operates marketwire.cloud as an invitation-only research and context tool. Privacy questions and deletion requests: support@marketwire.cloud, or use the contact form.

What we collect

• Name and email — when you request access, contact us, or hold an account.
• IP hash — a one-way hash of your IP address, used for rate limiting abuse of public forms and auth endpoints. We do not store the raw IP for that purpose.
• Session cookie — a browser session cookie that keeps you signed in after authentication. It is not used for advertising.
• Optional waitlist context — what you trade and how you heard about MarketWire, if you provide it.
• Contact messages — subject and message body when you write to us.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the Service: evaluate access requests, authenticate sessions, prevent abuse, answer support mail, and send transactional email (access approval, first-login links). We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising profiles.

Retention

Account and waitlist records are kept while access is active or a request remains pending, and for a limited audit window after rejection or closure. Rejected waitlist rows have personal fields removed on a scheduled basis after 90 days, retaining only what is needed for deduplication and audit. Contact messages are kept until handled, then deleted or archived for a short operational period. Session cookies expire with the session lifetime.

Cookies

The Service sets a session cookie after you sign in. Public pages do not require that cookie. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including GDPR and CCPA-style regimes), you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. California residents may also request a disclosure of categories of personal information collected. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Deletion

To request deletion of your name, email, waitlist row, contact messages, or account, email support@marketwire.cloud or submit the contact form. We will verify the request and delete or anonymize the data except where we must retain a minimal record for security, legal, or anti-abuse reasons.

Changes

We may update this notice. The effective date at the top will change. Material changes that affect registered users will be communicated by email where we have an address on file.

Governing law

This notice is interpreted under the laws applicable to the operator of MarketWire.
